AICN is reporting that director Stephen Gaghan (Traffic) is working on adapting Malcolm Gladwell's non-fiction best seller. Leonardo DiCaprio is producing and will star in it.
I'll be interested to see what they do with this.

It's a slow work day so luckily today is a big day for Lost clues. The first link in the Active Projects section of the Hanso Foundation website is now active and it leads to a press release celebrating the 105th birthday of an orangutan named "Joop", also known as "experimental subject 626" in the "Life Extension Project".
Is it almost time to create a "LOST" category to store all our speculative posts in?
Tomorrow is the "Passport to the Art World" event sponsored by The New Yorker. Your $20 ticket gets you 24 galleries, the cocktail reception, and a passport. Each gallery has had a custom stamp designed by one of their artists to stamp your passport. The original stamp artwork will be auctioned at the end-of-day cocktail reception at Milk Gallery. Tickets available at ticketweb.com
It's been 40 years since the last Passport event, don't miss it this time around! (flyer after the jump)
...and the Man is a Dog.
Or, at least, that's what the morse code on Bigspaceship1.com, the site that's somehow linked to Lost, says today. And there's an illustration that links out to some old plates of strange animals & plants, which in turn links to a site about genetic manipulation of plants.
The only thing I can come up with regarding the code is that it's talking about a genetic experiment - if something is both dog and man, it's a Chimera. However, if it's meant to be metaphorical, maybe one of The Others is a good guy, and maybe one of the Survivors is a traitor.
This is really hurting my brain.
