Four years ago, I owed my friend Kevin $150 from assorted gambling gaffes. I was making about $150 a week at the time, so handing over that kind of cash would have killed me. Somehow, I convinced him to take payment in the form of a personalized jersey of my choosing. My choice? Sammy "Mayday" Malone's #16 Red Sox throwback.
To me, this was the greatest jersey purchase of all time.
Can anyone think of anything remotely similar? Kevin (above) came up with Fletch's Lakers #99 (after the jump). Definitely in the same class. Help me out, since I'm sure to find myself in debt again.
