Not to step on DNAGal's subject expertise, but I noticed another particularly revolting example of God's wonderful natural world yesterday. The Tongue-Eating Bug, cymothoa exigua, slowly eats away it's victims tongue until only a stub remains, and then latches itself into the mouth to become a “replacement” tongue.
Which is, of course, pretty much most men's definition of “being in a long term relationship”.
