We've always kept the comments section on this blog unmoderated. You won't be allowed to post a URL - chiefly to stop spambots - but otherwise we're interested in hearing what people have to say without the need for us to 'approve comments“.

Which makes me chuckle a little at the latest word from The Huffington Post. As a celebrity-driven blog, I'm sure they're much more sensitive about flame comments than we are. But instead of dispensing with comments altogether, they're manually reading them all and approving them.

Which means they currently have a backlog of 15,000 comments awaiting approval. Bwahahahahaha
