Over on License to Roam, Rachel talks about a book entitled “Rude Britain”, and she features a list of the rudest place names in Britain. That was the kind of challenge my Google fingers couldn't resist, and so now - YesButNoButYes provides a pictorial guide to the rudest places in Britain.
This charming property lies in the village of Cocks in Cornwall, which is suitably in the lower regions of England. Funnily enough I lifted the photo from a realtor who's name was Lillicrap Chilcott.
Here's the post office at Twatt in Orkney. There's a nice balance to the fact that Twatt and Cocks are are opposite ends of the UK.
This vacation village is located in Sandy Balls, Hampshire. Remembering my childhood on British beaches, never has a vacation spot been so aptly named.
