These amateurish attempts are all I've got to offer.
But, having been a proud Brownie in the Girl Scouts of America, I can tell you that a "brownie" is a mythical elf-like creature that does good deeds in the dark of night. So perhaps, that's what our Dear "Brownie" was up to, which made it look like he wasn't doing a goddam thing during the day.
