I have two fantasy teams this season, one with high school friends and one with guys from college. Because I missed the live draft, the college league is a disaster. But since I usually find myself in last place anyway, I guess letting Yahoo make the picks for me can't be all bad.
[I'll leave the rest of this after the jump, since this category is also known as "Utter Nonsense to Ignore."]
Here's who we're rooting for in the hometown league:
QBs - Tom Brady, Chad Pennington RBs - Shaun Alexander (above left), Rudi Johnson (above right), Travis Henry, T.J. Duckett, Mewelde Moore WRs - Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Laveraneus Coles, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, David Patten, Marcus Robinson TE - Alge Crumpler K - Jay Feely DEF - Washington Redskins
We'll go as far as our backs take us. Shaun Alexander is playing for a contract, and 1,800 yards and 18 TDs is not out of the question. Rudi J. is a question mark, but could make the leap. I had to draft Giants kicker Jay Feely to give me something to root for (and to prevent a stroke after the 34th consecutive Eli Manning drive stalls inside the 20). Look forward to frequent updates.
As for reality football, I think the Patriots have one more title in them. That's not much of a surprise, so I'll pick a sleeper in the NFC.
Super Bowl XL: Patriots 27, Cowboys 20.
NFC Division Winners: Eagles, Vikings, Panthers, Rams
Wild Cards: Cowboys, Falcons
NFC Championship: Cowboys 13, Vikings 0
AFC Division Winners: Patriots, Ravens, Colts, Chiefs
Wild Cards: Steelers, Jets
AFC Championship: Patriots 31, Colts 28
MVP: Daunte Culpepper
Coach of Year: Bill Parcells
Have a good season.

you must have drafted early to get Alexander.
here's my team:
QB: M Bulger, C Palmer, B Leftwich (could be his year)
RB: E James, A Green, T Bell (big question mark, but Edge and Green are consistent studs, so I'm not worried)
WR: N Burleson, L Coles, K Colbert, Ro Smith
TE: T Gonzalez, J Wiggins
K: R Longwell, J Brown
Def: Buffalo
I'm pretty happy with my draft. and although you're probably right about the Pats, I hope not. I'm sick of them.
I had the #2 pick. Thought about Peyton or Priest, but couldn't get behind either of them.
Burleson is a great pick. I was hoping he'd still be around for me. Someone else in my league must have read the same article I did, which said "Nate Burleson will be a stud."
Cool4you,guys.
