Anyone here seen The Aristocrats yet? My local is an AMC, so even if I had wanted to go see it, I wouldn't have been able to, as the AMC chain aren't running it.
I've been reading about this movie for awhile now, always with the same explanation of what it is about, and where the joke came from, etc. But this morning was the first time I had read the suggestion that the whole concept of the Aristocrats joke may be an elaborate hoax. Can anyone say “Blair Witch Project”?

I saw it. It was really good. After the movie I was thinking how great it would be to go to a screening somewhere deep in religious right country, just to see everyones' heads explode.
I doubt it's a hoax. 1) They had a bunch of old timer's telling their versions - Rip Taylor, Tim Conway, Phyllis Diller, even Larry Storch. and 2) I've seen Penn on stage - I don't think he's funny enough to come up with the hoax concept.
But who knows.
I just saw a version from South Park on heavy.com - really outrageous - dont know if Trey and Matt really did this or not since the mouth synching is off the audio track, but check it out
