Ok. I'm sure by now that everyone who contributes to YBNBY has an iPod or some other "inferior" digital music player. I've had mine for a while. It is a second series 10 gig model. I'll have to admit that due to the relatively "small" size in comparison to some of the later models, I usually wish I could put more songs on it. However, I've noticed that there are an elite group of albums that I have never taken off. It seems that no matter what the next evolution of personal music storage will be, I will always hope to have these albums as easily accessible as they are now.
I thought it might be interesting to share the albums the other readers of YBNBY consider to be those they will carry with them for all time. Take a look at your players. Pick three albums you feel you will never grow tired of and keep in rotation on your playlist.
It is unrealistic to think that my playlists of today will be identical to those twenty years from now, but with the advent of the 10 Terabyte iPod, I should have plenty of room for three measly albums. My albums in random order: 1. Percy Hill - Color in Bloom 2. Weezer - Weezer 3. Ween - The Mollusk.
Check out your iPod, give it some thought and share with the rest of us.

3)English Beat - Just Can't Stop It
2)Beatles - Rubber Soul
1)Roxy Music - Avalon
DJ Format - Music for the Mature Generation. Ben Folds Five - Ben Folds Five. Jay Z - The Black Album
This is pretty hard, especially since I usually don't even keep full albums on my iPod but I'll give it a try: 1)Belle & Sebastian - Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A Peasant 2)Sleater Kinney - One Beat 3)Pavement - Brighten The Corners
