So - can someone please explain the US finale of Hell's Kitchen to me? I've searched around online, but can't seem to find the answer. Michael won the competition, which, week in week out has been advertised that the winner would get their own restaurant - a fantastic prize. Then, at the last minute, Gordon Ramsay steps forward and offers him a job in London - so what happened to the restaurant? Did it ever exist? Did he not win it? Did he make the right choice? And then, why didn't they just give the restaurant to Ralph?
Week after week, my wife and I joked that what he was going to win was his very own Dennys. I would have at least liked to see what he was giving up to go to London.
Isn't Ralph an NY guy? Ralph - if you're out there, email us. We'd love to know the scoop.

They never made it clear, but I assumed the restaurant they would win was Hell's Kitchen itself, though redesigned to be either "Frank n Lulus" or "Lola Pop". The other offer was out of left field and maybe that's because giving them the restaurant was no longer possible. You'd think Ralph would have gotten it as sloppy seconds if they were still giving it away.
