Napoleon 1

While I'm not surprised that Jon Heder and Efren Ramirez finally caved in to the pressure (and undoubtedly large dollar signs) to reprise their roles from Napoleon Dynamite for an advertising campaign, I AM surprised at who the client is. It seems that the Utah State Fair has both the budget and the foresight to add to The Books of Napoleon. Three separate commercials - here, here and here. Man, they should have got Heder to dance. love the shot of Heder's hair sticking out of the box while Ramirez duct-tapes it up.

one question: is this supposed to make me want to go to the utah state fair? cause ... um ... well ... you know ... it ... doesn't ... really.

I believe Heder and Ramirez's involvement with advertising the Utah state fair has to do with the fact that Idaho (Where Napoleon Dynamite is from) and Utah are largely Mormon states. I've been told that there are a lot of Mormon references throughout Napoleon Dynamite and many Mormons have identified a lot with this film.
