A highly decorated fighter pilot, Dick died Sept 20, 2004.
A graduate of Duke University, school teacher, avid bridge player and mother, Betty passed away peacefully yesterday after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

I've pretty much spent the day drinking and listening to music. Good feeling-sorry-for-yourself music: Sonic Youth, Radiohead (esp. Creep), Frank Black, Everything but the Girl, Air, Low, Belle and Sebastian and Beth Orton. Sometimes it feels good to feel bad.
