A Russian astrologist is suing NASA for $300 million. She claims the Deep Impact probe that NASA crashed into a comet over the weekend will screw up her horoscope. It "ruins the natural balance of forces in the universe"
Why didn't I use a word like "crazy" or "deranged" or "unhinged" to describe her? If she's suing NASA for tweaking her horoscope, I'm sure she wouldn't hesitate to send some of that our way.

Funnily enough, I was watching Michael Palin's new show, "Himalaya" on the Travel Channel over the weekend (excellent viewing, by the way). He noted that after the moon landing in '69, many Indian astrologists debated about whether the Moon could still be included in their charts, as it was now sullied by human touch.
Over the weekend, someone was telling me that, after the moon landing in '69, it rained like hell the rest of the summer. Somehow, people attributed the weather to the moon landing. Anyone remember something like that? Google News doesn't go back quite that far.
