Jerry Rice is arguably the NFL's all-time greatest wide receiver. After 21 seasons, he's lost more than a step. But Rice managed last week to latch on with the Denver Broncos.

The only question that remained? Whether current Broncos star receiver Rod Smith would give up his #80 in deference to the future hall of famer. Smith's answer was fantastic:

"I know I heard some fans saying I should give up the number. That feels like somebody saying, 'Hey man, let your neighbor use your wife.'"
