Hell's Kitchen - Promoting Weight Loss?

I too love Hell's Kitchen but as I watched it last night there was something odd that stood out at least to me.

Gordon Ramsey was berating overweight contestant Jimmy on his performance during dinner service and at the moment I thought went too far when he snapped at him "Lose some weight!" It was much too personal of a put down, even for Ramsey. Then the show immediately goes to a commercial and the first ad is for a weight loss product (I believe Slim Fast?) With so much ridiculous ad placement within shows like The Apprentice, am I being unreasonable in suggesting that Slim Fast (if that was the correct product I'm remembering) scripted this insult and the resulting segue to it's ad?

Ramsey also used the same exact put down to a customer later in the show, though that time there was no corresponding commercial. Say it once and it could be a coincidence, say it twice and it could be branding.

Actually, if you watch the British versions of his show, he makes "fat" comments quite a lot. Seems he has a thing against the obese. Which is a bit surprising for a man who makes his living stuffing people's faces.
