Bill Hemmer has left CNN to "pursue other opportunities". So who does CNN replace him with as the co-anchor for "American Morning" with Soledad O'Brien? Someone else named O'Brien. Miles, that is.
Can't wait for the cute banter the whole name thing will generate on air. At least they cancelled Crossfire and moved the cantankerous Jack Cafferty to a time when I'm at work and he can't get my mornings off to a grumpy start.

That's almost as confusing as Paris getting engaged to Paris.
On a plane, my parents once sat right in front of Jack Cafferty. He was anchor of the WPIX news at the time. My dad said Captain Jack went out of his way to be noticed, but nobody recognized him (or cared enough to say hello). I wish the story included JC yelling at the flight attendant ("Return my seat to the forward position? Do you know who I am?"), but I still decided to root against him after hearing that. I was like 11 at the time.
Yeah I remember Old Jack from WPIX too. At first when he started on CNN I was rooting for the local boy done good, but the crabbiness got too me fast.
Hemmer is such a vapid tool, good riddance.
