As we head into another work week, there are a few things I always try to remind myself, to help me get through another one.

Firstly, I always try to imagine that, whatever happens in a work setting, that I'm actually taking part in a Christopher Guest movie - usually Spinal Tap or Waiting for Guffman. Remember, there's SUCH a fine line between clever and stupid.

Secondly, follow the advice of David Brent whenever possible, and be a friend first, a boss second, and probably an entertainer third.

And finally, that even the best clients can be a tremendous font of entertainment. Witness this quote
