I power-walked the ICFF before I went to work yesterday. (I need to hold my real job so that I can keep wasting my time on this thing) My first time here, and it was definitey alot to take in all at once. I'm going to concentrate on companies that are focused on keeping design fun, and there were alot of them.
Regarding this image, The table is by Ingo Maurer, and it's amazing. I've said it before...as soon as I learn how to start saving money, I plan to shop there alot.

FlavorPaper...wallpaper's come a long way.

Modern Convenience...this is the same company that makes those awesome skateboards. A woman named Didi Dunphy designs it all.

Someone check the clock. Karim Rasheed's time is just about up.

Not great design, but you kow how I love toys and furniture.

BlinkStacks. The colors change so they appear to move...neat

Save The Gorillas. Just fun...no more. no less

FatBoy. These guys are big into comfort. And the dogbeds are awesome.

A lesson in understatement. These would look great in the country mansion you're buying for the weekends.

When did Dr. Suess start designing furniture?

Look...design for the kiddies.

iBall chairs by Tweak Design...more on this later.

Dr. Suess is back.

The "Placentero" chair...that's a little bizarre, huh?

and finally, one for the Star War geeks...lightsaber magazine rack.
