Yes, yes Wednesday is new comics day, but this coming Saturday, May 7 is the 4th Annual Free Comics Day. Comic book retailers all over the country will have a variety of new comics that they will be giving away free all day as a way of attracting new customers. If you haven't bought a comic since you were a kid and are curious to see what the medium has to offer these days then this will be a good way for you to get your feet wet.

Flight is an anthology published by Image Comics that collects numerous stories centering on the theme of flying. The art is inspired by the great European comic artists like Moebius.

Comics Festival collects stories written and drawn by some very talented Canadian comic creators like Seth, Cameron Stewart, Chip Zdarsky, and Darwyn Cooke.

Funny Book collects works published by Fantagraphics, the reknowned bastion of good comics taste in the industry. Here you'll find Daniel Clowes, Los Bros Hernandez, Johnny Ryan and more.

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith will probably spoil the movie twelve days before it comes out but you could at least pick it up and read it on May 20.
