
Pretty cool guerilla campaign from the New York Mets & Ogilvy. Stickers are being affixed to windshields of cars parked throughout the City, making the glass appear cracked. A hand-written note is also left:
"I'm new here and that left field wall at Shea is shorter than I thought. Again, my apologies. See you at the ballpark. --Carlos Beltran."
Eight players are part of the campaign, aimed at building buzz for the Mets, New York's perennial "other team." While it's impossible to hit a ball from Queens to Manhattan, just last year the idea that a Met would hit any kind of home run was implausible.
