A couple of sites have caught my eye in the last week or so that all fall into the category “never mind the content, look at that navigation”

Elevatormoods is the kind of site where you wish the actual movies were just a little better, because so much care has been taken over every single aspect of the site design.

JC The Store won the award for Best Navigation at the recent San Francisco Flash Forward Film Festival. I actually think the accolade here should go to concept and emotional resonance rather than just the navigation idea, because this is a site that works on a very visceral level.
