A PVRBlog post discusses a new way advertisers are trying to stop viewers from skipping through ads. Looks like some ads are covered with a banner while fast-forwarding. A few comments below the post complain that it's difficult to tell when your show comes back on.
Like I've said before, we're a two-TiVo family. I'm all for finding ways to keep TiVo a viable business, but not by screwing up the service. (I'll post some TiVo money-making schemes tomorrow.)
