Engadget has launched a TiVo Deathwatch. Two senior execs recently left the company, the stock has flatlined, and subscribers are getting nervous.
I'm the patriarch of a two-TiVo (no kids) family, with $598 tied up in "lifetime service." So, to me, this is a big deal. There are some bright (and bored) people in the YesButNoButYes community -- anyone have any big ideas to help save the company (and my considerable investment)?

TIVO is probably another one of those companies that will be killed off by cheaper, inferior competitors.
I've never owned one but I do have a DVR through Road Runner, so I'm part of the problem.
