Just finished Malcolm Gladwell's Blink. All about trusting your gut reaction (except the chapters about how your gut reaction is often wrong. But that's a confusing topic for another post.)
Here's my big takeaway: Say you're in the position of selling an idea. Something you're really passionate about. And the person you're trying to convince keeps asking for raw numbers and examples of similar work. That's where Blink comes in handy.
If facts & figures can't predict your idea's success, or it isn't Die Hard meets anything, refer to Blink. "I just know this is going to work. I can't explain it. I have a book for you..."

Halfway through the book right now. Almost as good at "The Tipping Point".
Ive heard that it's a bit lacking in scholarship, that he has trouble supporting his premise. What do you guys think?
I'll let you know when I finish. Like his last book he really makes it interesting by the variety of subjects he delves into to help explain the main idea. If you haven't read "The Tipping Point" you really need to. One of my all time favorites.
