Not a neighborhood dog run or a new S&M club, Bone Lick Park is Manhattan's newest barbecue joint (no small task due to city restrictions on smoking ovens). Now I haven't had real barbeque in...wait, I've never had real barbecue, I'm from upstate New York, but this stuff was great. Bone Lick is the real deal, barbecue-wise, in that all of their meats are cooked in a massive high-tech wood "pit" over hickory and fruit woods. The ribs were great, and the sides were good too...mac&cheese, onion rings w/blue cheese dressing and corn bread (I was hung over). They also feature a $6.95 lunch special...not bad.

I walked by there this weekend. There were a bunch of muscle-bound gay guys hanging out in there. I was afraid to go in least I be covered in BBQ sauce and eaten.
I thought that had always been an ambition of yours. I must stop getting them and fears mixed up. It's too easy to get mixed up as it is.
