Two related stories from the current Rolling stone magazine:
Firstly, Yoko Ono has given permission for two previously unreleased songs by John Lennon to be used in an upcoming Broadway musical called (amazingly) Lennon . These were songs that John chose not to release while he was alive but Yoko thinks "this will be a big big show, so why don't I throw this in?".
Secondly, Queen will be touring again in the Summer with replacement lead singer Paul Rodgers. They are planning to play many songs from the Queen repetoire, including a version of Bohemian Rhapsody that would see Rodgers trade vocals with a video image of Freddie Mercury. Queen members Roger Taylor and Brian May will be the ones taking the stage. Bassist John Deacon however, has refused to take part.
To which I say, good for you Mr Deacon. Man oh man, have these people no shame?
